Jordan's capital spending up to JD452M in Jan-May 2026-Ministry

Amman, July 14 (Petra) -The Kingdom's capital expenditure rose by roughly JD28 million in the first five months of 2026, compared to the same period in 2025, amounting for nearly JD452 million, according to public finance data released by the Ministry of Finance on Tuesday.

The ministry said spending amounts were invested in multiple development projects, funded under the 2026 State Budget, including expansion of Risha Gas Field, constructing and equipping Princess Basma Hospital and Ma'an Military Hospital, the National Employment Strategy, and vocational and technical education development projects.

According to the ministry, the growth showcases the government's ongoing investment in priority projects to stimulate economic activity, boost growth, improve public services, and keep development timelines on track.
